The Origins of the word “Mentor” lie in ancient Greek literature. In The Odyssey by Homer, when Odysseus was away from home for 20 years, Telemachus, his little son, grew up under the supervision of Mentor, an old and trusted friend. When Goddess, Athena, decided it was time to complete the education of young Telemachus, she visited him disguised as Mentor and they set out together to learn about his father.
Our M.L.E accepts very few students every year and empowers them with the right skills set, tools set and mind set required for success. The emphasis is on igniting the hunger for independence and developing responsible individuals and citizens. Each plan is customised after assessing the areas of development and is run in support with the family. The goal is to identify opportunities to develop leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with an increased understanding of the career and educational planning process. The M.L.E program gives the students a head start for building a strong foundation for future college and career aspirations.
